Welcome to Mama Deez. My name is Darlene Thurlow, I grew up in Poland, ME and started working in restaurants in 1990. Working on and off for twenty one years cooking, making sandwiches, and baking. Mama Deez was born because I love to bake and create cakes. There have been many people in my life who have inspired me to open Mama Deez because they have told me, I have so much talent. I started baking in 1991, when I was eighteen. I have done anything from cakes, cookies, to brownies. The first cake I made was for my daughters first birthday. I continued making birthday cakes and then began creating baby shower cakes in 1997. In 2000 I started creating wedding cakes. I love to be creative and to make the cakes of my customer's dreams come alive. It has always been my dream to open my own business and I have high hopes for success. I look forward to working with you to create the perfect custom treat.
